Meet Brian. Brian is a marketing specialist
working in the Research and Development department of a Marketing
Reasearch company. Brian was
running some marketing numbers yesterday when his computer
gave him a curious error. He called the Helpdesk and he hasn't
heard from anyone.
When he called again he was told their
helpdesk software was experiencing problems but they would have
someone calling him shortly. Brian asked if there was a way he
could search through FAQs or Knowledgebase which could
help him solve the problem. The Helpdesk person said "I'm
sorry but our software doesn't have that capability. So here
he sits waiting for someone to come look at his computer.
